EA Trade on Feb 22, 2019 10:19 from boldandnuts: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

EA sold off the whole week and had decent volume. I saw it grind lower on friday and watched it close for a bottom bounce.

For my Entry I was not patient enough to wait for a decision-candle to form, but used the 94 level where it started to consolidate.

The level broke eventually, but traded around it and I gave it some room. I was looking for an area to add to it.

I was very patient with my add. Very good, Markus! I was however also starting to worry I might be just wrong here. I had 92.80ish as next support and when it did not form a proper decision-candle at 93.30ish in the middle of nowhere and made a move up there I sat tight. Good!

EA came down to eventually test 93.

Here it consolidated way longer than I thought and my add was too late! I saw that decision-candle form and hesitated on the break at first just to end up chasing it. Instead of waiting for another pullback and possible retest of 93 to place a bid there.

EA consolidated rather long here and I gave it enough room and time.
It finally broke out and came back to my average-price. I watched closely for possible exhaustion.

When I wanted to take off half I had a fat finger and hit the wrong button! I added half a tier instead of selling half position. IDIOT.

I immediately took off the trade for that mistake!

Really sad to see the trade work out as planned. What a beautiful bounce. Picture Perfect.

Trade better:

For improvement: Wait for a decision-candle to form on a bottom bounce. Use the high as entry-trigger and the low (-5ct?) as a stop.

In hindsight it would have been better to take a loss on the first attempt, re-evaluate and enter again on a decision-candle. like the one I saw at 93. Even better to wait for a decision-candle to form on higher time frames and trade the aligned breakout to the upside.
